Having developed an interest in photography some sixty years ago and spent a fortune developing and printing my own black and white images and paying various photoprocessing laboraties to produce inferior quality prints the introduction of digital photography was both a revelation and a delight.
The idea that one can experiment, with minimal cost and develop interests in a variety of different areas of photography has been fascinating and I would like to show you a selection of the work that I have produced, in particular the wildlife with the kind advice of Drew Burnett http://www.wildeyesafaris.co.uk/about.html and David Rolfe http://wildlife-shots.co.uk/about-2/ who are both professional photographers and for whom I have a great regard.
I have never received any formal education in the art of photography and therefore fall into the category of a happy snapper. I hope that in looking at these pictures you experience some of the pleasure that I have had in the taking and editing of them.
